Stan today has announced that The Walking Dead: Dead City and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon have been renewed for a second season, launching exclusively on Stan, same day as the U.S. The official title for the third brand new series in The Walking Dead Universe has also been announced, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which follows the return of fan favourites Rick and Michonne and will premiere in 2024, only on Stan.
Stan has also released the brand new trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, premiering September 11, and a brand new teaser for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.
The Walking Dead: Dead City’s six-episode first season follows the popular characters Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.
In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Norman Reedus) washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.
Also in the Walking Dead Universe, the newly titled The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, is set to premiere in 2024, only on Stan.
