HOUSE OF THE DRAGON SEASON 2 AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE

Ahead of the global premiere of the second season of the award-winning series House of the Dragon, Melbourne personalities and fans attended BINGE’s Australian premiere tonight (Wednesday 12 June) at IMAX Melbourne.

Hosted by Australian social media stars Luke and Scott O'Halloran, guests were transported to a Westeros inspired world as BINGE transformed IMAX Melbourne into a Targaryen-ruled Westeros where all guests must pledge their loyalty to either the Green or Black Council before being among the first in the world to watch the opening episode of the second season ahead of its global premiere on Monday 17 June.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.

Westeros is on the brink of a bloody civil war with the Green and Black Councils fighting for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively. As each side believes theirs to be the rightful seat on the Iron Throne, viewers “All Must Choose” their side of House Targaryen as the realm fractures in season two.

Returning cast for the second season includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, and Matthew Needham.
