Stick Mob are an innovative creative collective of young First Nations storytellers from Mparntwe-Alice Springs. They are currently finalising their second wave of graphic novels, following a years-long mentorship and professional development program thanks to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and Comics On Country.

We are currently raising funds for professional publication of their new books through an Australian Cultural Fund's BOOST campaign -- and we're over halfway to our fundraising goal...

STORM WARNING BOOK 2: THE END OF IT ALL

A manga-inspired tale of climate catastrophe and found family. Written by Lauren Boyle with artwork by Alyssa Mason.

...but we're not there yet! With a few more tax deductible donations, we can reach our goal and send their books to print, ready for young adult and adult readers around Australia (and beyond) to experience, engage with and enjoy!

MIXED FEELINGS BOOK 2

Where slice-of-life and science-fiction meet, as socially awkward high-schooler Pam is thrust into an unknown world. Written and illustrated by Declan Miller.

Any tax-deductible donation, signal-boost and/or shout-out will help bring these sensational graphic novels to life – imbued with stories that are grounded in Arrernte Country, friendship, and creativity exploring themes and perspectives from Mparntwe-Alice Springs that share lived experiences and reveal a cultural reality that extends beyond the current doom-and-gloom news cycles.

EXO DIMENSIONS BOOK 2

Heartfelt mutants, complex family dynamics, cyborgs, and interdimensional portals. What more could you ask for?! Written and illustrated by Seraphina Newberry.

If you’ve already donated – thank you so much! If you know someone who might love what Stick Mob are doing, please share this campaign with them. The more people who hear about and experience Stick Mob's stories, the better!

The goal is to raise $5,000 by April 30 -- and thanks to support from the Australia Cultural Fund's BOOST program, every dollar raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar to a combined total of $10,000.
