Calling all Trainers Down Under, join millions of Trainers from across the globe for Pokémon GO Tour:

Unova – Global! Take part in this worldwide event inspired by the Unova region, first featured in

Pokémon Black and Pokémon White on the Nintendo DS.

Taking place on March 1st and 2nd 2025 from 10am-6pm local time, no ticket is required for this global

event. Get ready to experience new gameplay inspired by the stories and characters of Pokémon Black

Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2. Anyone can

take part in this exciting two-day event at no cost whether you’re a longtime fan of Unova or a new

Trainer picking up Pokémon GO for the first time.


Rank up the fun with the all-new Tour Pass!


The Tour Pass is a free, limited-time progression track during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova that offers

ranked rewards and bonuses. By completing Pass Tasks and collecting Tour Points, you can collect

rewards, increase your rank and improve your event bonuses.


During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, all Trainers will automatically receive their Tour Pass at no

cost on Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect Tour Points and rank up for

additional rewards through the end of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global on Sunday, March 2, at 6:00

p.m. local time.


A paid version of the Tour Pass, called Tour Pass Deluxe, will be available for Trainers looking for

upgraded rewards and faster progression. Plus, when you upgrade to a Tour Pass Deluxe, you’ll get an

immediate encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini. Trainers with the Tour Pass Deluxe will also

have the chance to rank up to the highest tier where you’ll earn a brand new item, the Lucky Trinket!

Black Kyurem and White Kyurem make their Pokémon GO debuts with Pokémon fusion

Does anyone feel a chill in the air? Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will make their Pokémon GO

debuts during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova. All Trainers will be able to experience these forms of Kyurem

through a phenomenon known as Pokémon fusion.


Trainers will have a chance to learn more about these forms of Kyurem in the event-exclusive Special

Research story.


Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon GO debut!

It’s music to our ears—for the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny

Meloetta! A ticket for Masterwork Research* that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Meloetta will be

made available to purchase globally. Stay tuned for additional details.


*Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace.



The reason for the seasons? Shiny Deerling debuts!

During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Deerling in Pokémon

GO—if you’re lucky!


Deerling, the Season Pokémon, takes on a different appearance during each season. The season-themed

habitats will rotate hourly, so be sure to explore each one and encounter them all.


Get Egg-cited for more Shiny Pokémon debuts!

For lucky Trainers, Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant will be available globally for the

first time during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global! Maractus, Sigilyph, and Bouffalant will hatch from

10 km Eggs during the event.


The following Pokémon will appear in raids!

The Pokémon appearing in five-star raids will alternate each hour during event hours. Reshiram and

Black Kyurem will appear in raids first, followed by Zekrom and White Kyurem.


New Special Backgrounds!

Trainers who participate in five-star raids during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will have a chance

of receiving new Special Backgrounds after making a successful catch. These souvenir backgrounds will

appear on the Pokémon’s summary page, showing when the Pokémon was caught and commemorating

your adventures during Pokémon GO Tour.


Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will feature two Special Backgrounds for you to collect—one

inspired by Pokémon Black Version and one inspired by Pokémon White Version.

● Reshiram can have a background inspired by Pokémon Black Version

● Zekrom can have a background inspired by Pokémon White Version

● Kyurem encountered in its unfused form after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in raids

could have either background

● Plus, when you fuse a Zekrom or Reshiram or that has a Special Background with a Kyurem that

has a Special Background of the opposite color, the fused Black Kyurem or White Kyurem will

have its own variant background


Event-themed Pokémon will appear in unique season-themed habitats during the event including the

chance to encounter Shiny Deerling and very special Pikachu iterations.


Roggenrola, Timburr, Karrablast, Shelmet and Larvesta eggs will hatch during the event, as well as unique

Incense Encounters. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a shiny one!
